The Kestrel SE spinning reel weighs just 5 ounces, making it ideal for anglers who prefer downsized bait presentations in clear or highly pressured waters. Despite its ultralight design, it delivers strong, reliable performance for targeting even the wariest fish. Key load-bearing areas of the spinning reel, including the reel body and reel foot, are reinforced with Sycron material to reduce flex and wobble under heavy load. Plus, the aerodynamic reel rotor lowers resistance and provides better overall performance. The Kestrel SE Spinning Reel redefines casting with its patented spool design, minimizing line friction for extended casting distances and superior control. The direct-drive secure-fit CNC aluminum handle locks in solid with zero play for maximum stability. Sealed CNC anodized aluminum spool featuring a waterproof O-ring front drag reduces moisture intrusion to help prevent drag slip.
